14 pairs of trousers you can wear to work and the office

Most of our work wardrobes have consisted of no more than loungewear and slippers for the past couple of years thanks to working from home during the pandemic. But as many of us have now made at least a partial return to the office, we’ve been confronted with a lack of fresh and inspiring work-appropriate clothing. If you’re anything like us, those black work trousers that you’ve had for years aren’t exactly sparking joy (although they are always handy to have).

Along with leather looks, wide-leg, tailored trousers topped the trending chart in autumn and winter. And the trend is still going strong as we head into the warmer months, making it easier for those who prefer to stay away from tight-fitting trousers to find a smart option that’s just right for them.

We’ve been spoiled with working from home in elasticated waistbands and stretchy, comfortable material for so long, that now you might not feel so eager to put on a pair of ‘proper’ bottoms for the office. But with that in mind, we’ve searched the online shops to find work trousers for women in a range of styles and price points, starting from just £18.

Your spring office attire is sorted!
