It’s no secret that current home and interior trends are awash with rattan, wicker, raffia and other natural materials that lend an immediate boho vibe to any interior. Everything from lampshades and mirrors to plant pots and storage baskets have received the rattan treatment, and it can be found all across the high street, from budget to high end stores.

Luckily, natural materials like seagrass, which creates a great rattan effect, is relatively cheap, so all manner of budget homeware brands are flooded with the stuff right now. One such place is Wilko, where one seagrass-covered glass vase, in particular, is causing a storm on Instagram.

Priced at just £6, the vase is an extremely affordable update for any bedside table, mantelpiece or floating shelf and is the perfect size for holding a mid-size bunch of flowers.

Seagrass Covered Vase, £6, Wilko

The Wilko seagrass vase has caught the eye of many an interior blogger and enthusiast, who have then taken to Instagram to show off how they’ve styled it – and it turns out, the possibilities are endless.

While @laurahomeinterior left hers empty and styled it next to a candle for a minimalist look, @once_upon_a_garage and @bruntonlisa have used their Wilko seagrass vases to show off pretty fresh blooms. Meanwhile, @atthelisles shows that it also looks great on a bedside table, styled with coffee table books and other wicker accessories. And we just know it would look equally fabulous holding dried flowers or fluffy pampas grass.

Others, such as @_housewise, couldn’t even wait to get it in their house, instead snapping a pic of the vases in store and putting it straight on the ‘gram.

One particular shot of the vases on Wilko’s own Instagram page racked up an impressive nearly 8,000 likes and people rushed to comment on it: ‘these would look gorgeous in your living room’ said one, tagging her friend; ‘These are so cute’ wrote another.

Unfortunately, the vase is no longer available online, but it can still be found in Wilko stores – but we’d suggest you hurry as who knows how long it will stick around when it’s getting this much attention online.
