As the UK eases further out of lockdown, you might be considering investing in a face mask. It’s been compulsory to wear them on public transport since 15 June and from 24 July it’s also mandatory to wear them in all shops across England . Meanwhile, the government’s advice on wearing face coverings in all other enclosed public spaces where social distancing is not possible, or where you are more likely to come into contact with people you do not normally meet, such as visiting the hairdressers or a trip to the cinema , still stands.
