The Instagram algorithm is something we love to hate and hate to love – we don’t really understand it, but what we do know is that we keep missing our friend’s posts and instead see random videos from accounts we’ve never heard of before. In fact, Instagram came under fire earlier this year for trying to change users’ feeds to contain more videos, which people complained was too much like TikTok.
