Victoria Beckham is rumoured to be launching a health and lifestyle brand to rival Goop

Rumour has it that Victoria Beckham might be making plans to launch a health and lifestyle brand that could potentially rival Gwyneth Paltrow’s £200 million Goop empire.

According to The Sun, the former Spice Girl turned fashion designer has been given permission to sell beauty and wellbeing products in the US, which indicates the possibility of a wellbeing brand being formed under VB’s name. It’s also been reported that she’s trademarked ‘Victoria Beckham’ and her initials ‘VB’ for legal protection.

This comes not long after the designer launched her eponymous line of make up and beauty products last year to go alongside her existing high end fashion label. The vast beauty line spans make-up, including her iconic smoky eye bricks, and skincare such as moisturisers and serums, but this new venture would allow VB to tap into the wider market of candles, oils, creams and more.

It’s thought that the brand could easily rival Goop, the multimillion dollar brainchild of Gwyneth Paltrow, which has become synonymous with the weird, wonderful and wacky world of wellbeing for it’s lifestyle products that include a candle called ‘This Smells Like My Vagina’, a necklace that double up as a sex toy and a healing jade yoni egg.

An insider told The Sun that Victoria is looking to ‘repeat Gwyneth’s formula’ when it comes to the huge health and wellbeing market in the US, and that it’s likely people will rush to buy lifestyle products from her: ‘The Beckhams are huge in the States. Victoria’s products are likely to be lapped up and provide her with a lucrative leap into the international market.’

While there’s no telling whether there will be any unusual candles or yoni eggs in Victoria’s business future, we certainly look forward to seeing what a foray into the world of wellbeing and lifestyle products would look like from VB.
