With hair salons staying firmly shut until at least July, home haircare methods are on the rise. Not even celebrities are exempt from lockdown, meaning they too have been forced to get crafty at home with DIY hair hacks and sharing them on social media. And so, as we often do, we’ve been looking to the celebs for the best tips on how to keep our hair in tip top shape until we can get into a salon chair once more.
Holly Willoughby showed us her at-home method for keeping her roots at bay and Ruth Langsford shared the secret behind keeping her blonde locks bright during lockdown. And now? We know the exact shampoo and conditioner Victoria Beckham uses to maintain her luscious dyed hair in-between appointments.
The products in question are the Josh Wood Colour Radiating Shampoo and Conditioner for Fine Brunette Hair – and both cost just £10 each from Boots. While the products within the former Spice Girl turned fashion designer turned beauty guru’s eponymous make-up line can come in at some eye-watering prices, when it comes to her own beauty regime it turns out that VB loves a bargain just as much as the rest of us.
She’s been known to be an advocate of Weleda’s famously multi-tasking £7 Skin Food and was also spotted backstage at her AW20 London Fashion Week show using a £10 Peacci nail polish. We also know that she loves the £12 Caudalie Beauty Elixir spray for a refreshing glowy complexion.
In an Instagram story she shared with her 28.3 million followers, Victoria posted a picture of the two bottles with the caption: ‘Sulfate free ladies!! With UV filters’.
Josh Wood is the world’s leading colour expert and his home hair colour range includes permanent colour and root concealers as well as a comprehensive range of colour-preserving care products to make coloured hair positively shine in-between salon visits – however long that is thanks to lockdown.
If it’s good enough for VB…
