Victoria Beckham’s Christmas gift guide is making us want to upgrade our wish lists

Victoria Beckham is a woman who knows a thing or two about life’s little luxuries – so it’s no surprise that her 2019 Christmas gift guide is stuffed to the brim with them.

In an email recently sent out to her newsletter subscribers, the former Spice Girl shared recommendations for presents from her own label to leave under the tree this December, and it’s an edit we can only dream of receiving from Santa on Christmas morning.

The star wrote that she’d whittled her picks down to ‘trinket-like jewellery, sophisticated separates and elegant evening wear to get you ready for the holiday season’.

But of course, a Beckham-approved present doesn’t always come cheap, with prices starting from £95 for a slogan tee declaring ‘I can’t concentrate in flats’, and rising to a somewhat eye-watering £795 drawstring bag, based on the branded Victoria Beckham bag given to customers who shop in her Dover Street store.

Also on the list are a £220 lighter case, £315 sunglasses and a delicate gold necklace for £185, and while it’s been suggested that some of the pieces will be out of budget for many of her fans, for anyone in search of a seriously stylish gift for someone very special, Victoria’s ideas could be just the thing they’ve been looking for.

A full line-up is now also available to view on her website, if you’ve been inspired. However, if your festive bank balance won’t quite stretch to handbags and jewellery, take heart in the fact that VB’s also been known to give somewhat lower maintenance gifts herself – even where her husband is concerned.

For his birthday back in May, she gave footballer other half David two ‘clean’ stick deodorants from French pharmacy brand La Roche Posay. So if you’re looking for a stuffing stocking that’s not on the list, that could be a more reasonable place to start.
