This new LA makeup brand sold out on Cult Beauty within hours

Summer is a great time to mix up the way you use makeup, especially when it comes to textures. In particular, heavier powder blushers and bronzers tend to make way for more blendable, lightweight gels and creams that will give you that warm gorgeous glow with a natural finish. And there’s a new makeup brand in town to help you make these switches with ease, even if you have sensitive skin.

Tower 28 Beauty is the LA makeup brand that’s just arrived over here on UK shores and it’s already making waves. In fact, most of its products sold out within hours as soon as they went live on online beauty retailer Cult Beauty.

So what do you need to know about Tower 28? Well first, it’s considered ‘clean’, meaning it doesn’t use ‘toxic’ ingredients, fragrances or animal by-products. These days, having clean formulas is sort of a given for newer brands, but with Tower 28 you have the added appeal of it being suitable for super sensitive skin types. In fact, founder Amy Liu designed the range after suffering with eczema her whole life, meaning you can trust the products no matter how reactive you are.

The line up is small and curated, but has everything you need for that desirable summer radiance we all talk about. There’s a cream blusher and cream bronzer (both in a myriad of shades), along with a dewy highlighter and two lip products.

As mentioned, the range has already been doing super well over here; the most popular product has been the BeachPlease Luminous Tinted Balm, which sold out within 5 hours. This is the equivalent of one being sold every minute. As of last week, there was nearly 2,000 people on the waiting list for the product’s return and as we write, all but one of the shades is sold out at Cult Beauty.
