Maxi dresses may not be at the top of your agenda this week thanks to the April (and May!) showers coming our way. But that hasn’t stopped one particular Marks & Spencer dress from flying off the shelves.
Despite what the view outside your window might suggest, summer really is just around the corner. If our recent heatwave is anything to go by, it’s set to be a hot one – and so if you ask us, it makes sense to be prepared.
It turns out that many keen shoppers are right there with us, as they’ve been hitting their local high streets to get their hands on some new summer essentials – one of which is Marks & Spencer’s new geometric print half sleeve maxi dress.
Covered in yellow, green and blue geometric prints, the Marks and Spencer maxi dress is perfect for a summer’s day. Its flattering half sleeves and chic silver hoop belt also make it an instant winner, hence why women across the country have been going wild for it.
In fact, an M&S spokesperson told Good Housekeeping: ‘At M&S we always see increased interest in dresses from our customers at this time of year, and for the colour confident shopper the Autograph Geo Print Maxi is a summer must have. The belted dress has been selling well since its launch online and in-store and is currently sold out in sizes 6-12 online.’
The M&S dress isn’t the only must-have item selling out fast this season. Earlier this month, Topshop sent us all into a frenzy with their mix spotted midi dress. The dress sold out almost immediately after becoming available online but was quickly restocked due to high demand. For those who haven’t seen it, the black and white dress combines two polka dot prints (with bigger statement dots in the centre) and cuts down into a deep V-neck – it’s gorgeous.
The geometric print half sleeve maxi dress is available now from M&S but hurry, something tells us it won’t be around for long!
