Splurge: LoveShackFancy Loves Manebí
Manebí, Instagram’s favourite brand for espadrilles, has worked with clothing label LoveShackFancy on a capsule collection that just screams summer – think vintage-inspired floral patterns, bright colours and jute soles. Giving five of Manebí’s most popular styles, including the double-strap sandals, platform espadrilles and ankle strap wedges, a flirty update, this romantic range is perfect for everyday wear. Read: The Last Thing He Told Me by Laura Dave
When Hannah’s husband Owen disappears, he leaves behind a note instructing to protect his sixteen-year-old daughter, Bailey. As the FBI comes knocking at her door and Hannah starts to question her husband’s true identity, the suspenseful twists and turns take a back seat to the more compelling storyline of this domestic thriller – the growing bond between Hannah and Bailey as they uncover the truth. A must-read for fans of Little Fires Everywhere and Big Little Lies, Reese Witherspoon and Julia Roberts already have plans to adapt this page-turner into a limited series for Apple TV+. £12.99, Waterstones
Indulge: Truff Hot Sauce
If you’re looking for ways to spice up your smashed avocado on toast, scrambled eggs or roasted veggies, then let us put you onto Truff Hot Sauce. A blend of ripe chili peppers, organic agave nectar, truffle and truffle-infused olive oil, this award-winning hot sauce from the US already had Oprah Winfrey hooked – and now we’re obsessed too. It comes in three flavours – Black Truffle, White Truffle and the jalapeño-laced Hotter Sauce – and while it’s definitely one of the pricier condiments in our kitchen, a little bit of Truff goes a long way. From £19.99, Selfridges
Listen: I Am All In with Scott Patterson
You’ve probably (re)watched Gilmore Girls at some point during the pandemic, but Scott Patterson, who played everyone’s favourite flannel-wearing diner owner, Luke Danes, is doing it for the first time ever for his new podcast I Am All In. With over 150 episodes to watch – including the four-part miniseries A Year in the Life – the actor is heading back to Stars Hollow and bringing fans and former cast members along for the ride. First up to discuss the pilot is Yanic Truesdale, who is known to most of us as the ever so charming Michel Gerard. I Am All In is available to stream on Apple Podcasts and Spotify.
