We’re always on the lookout for easy cocktails recipes so when @thecocktailvibe made it onto our For You Page, we took it as a sign to follow the account – and we haven’t been disappointed since. Whether you’re a fan of a classic Tom Collins, frozen strawberry daiquiri or rosé, or something a bit more indulgent like an Eton Mess cocktail, the TikTok page run by 22-year-old Alexandra Hanson is full of 60-second videos that will tickle your taste buds.
Read: No One Can Change Your Life Except For You by Laura Whitmore
While the rest of us were painting by numbers or solving jigsaw puzzles during lockdown, Laura Whitmore wrote her first book, inspired by one of her favourite song lyrics by Wilson Phillips, ‘No one can change your life except for you.’ Part memoir, part self-help book, the TV presenter, who is currently expecting a baby with her husband Iain Stirling, covers everything from overcoming heartbreak and body image worries, to dealing with self-doubt and insecurity in an easy-to-read, uplifting way. £14.99, Waterstones
Splurge: Hudy Beauty’s Neon Obsessions Pressed Pigment Palette
Can’t stop thinking about Nicola Coughlan’s latest red carpet look? The Bridgerton star stunned at the virtual Golden Globes ceremony on Sunday night in a pastel yellow tulle dress by Molly Goddard, and a bold neon pink eyeshadow look created by makeup artist Neil Young – and we may have found the perfect palette to recreate it. Packed with highly pigmented mattes and shimmers, the Obsessions Palette by Huda Beauty has nine shades of neon pink, cute compact packaging and a large mirror. £27.00, Selfridges
Support: International Women’s Day
It’s International Women’s Day on Monday March 8th and this year’s theme is #ChooseToChallenge, a campaign launched to challenge inequality, call out bias and question stereotypes. To show your solidarity, and to further spread the message, you can post a photo in which you raise your hand on social media with the hashtag. Alternatively, might consider donating money, or buying from one of the 38 brands we’ve listed that are supporting women’s charities this International Women’s Day.
Listen: Blind Dating on Spotify
If you love dating shows like Married at First Sight and Love Is Blind, then this is *the* podcast for you. Every week, host Tara Michelle introduces one eligible single to two hopeful strangers. You’ll get to join the singletons on their virtual hangouts, listen to them flirting and making a case for why they deserve a second date – all without turning their cameras on. At the end of the episode, the bachelor or bachelorette needs to pick one match, but is a connection based on words or a voice strong enough?
