Okay, okay, Easter’s still a bit of a way off, but if the shops are already stocking Easter chocolates who are we to stop them? M&S has launched a giant chocolate Percy Pig complete with jazzy sprinkle trousers, Cadbury has released golden Creme Eggs into the world to celebrate the fondant-filled treat’s 50th birthday, and we know you’ve been spying those bags of Mini Eggs at the end of the supermarket aisles already.
And now, Terry’s is also getting in on the action with a brand-new release. Last year saw several new chocolatey releases from everyone’s favourite orange chocolate brand, including an official relaunch of the hotly anticipated Terry’s White Chocolate Orange. It was a surprising match made in heaven – orange-flavoured white chocolate? We never dared dream of such deliciousness before now.
This was shortly followed by a grab bag version of Terry’s White Chocolate Orange mini segments, which also went down a treat (pardon the pun).
Last year also saw the launch of Terry’s first ever Mini Eggs – the brand is often associated with Christmas, so the launch of mini egg grab bags was a clever move to get in on the Easter-fuelled chocolate-eating action.
And now, the brand has combined their biggest launches of 2020 and created maybe their best invention yet: Terry’s White Chocolate Orange Mini Eggs.
First spotted by @kevssnackreviews, the food blogger took to Instagram to share the news: ‘Terrys White Chocolate Mini Eggs are now a thing! Spotted in Tesco for £1’.
Understandably, people are very excited about the news, commenting on the post with ‘Oh my life I need’, ‘these could be trouble’ and simply ‘*heavy breathing*’.
Pick up a bag of Terry’s white chocolate orange mini eggs in Tesco stores for £1 each now.
