Our favourite ITV presenters are no strangers to affordable fashion, but the latest outfit to capture their imagination is even more of a snip than most – and it’s a supermarket find to boot.
Both Charlotte Hawkins and Susanna Reid have appeared on Good Morning Britain in recent times wearing a gorgeous leopard print dress from George at Asda; a design which comes complete with on-trend pleated skirt, long sleeves and a waist-cinching tie for its bargain price tag.
The stylish piece retails at the supermarket for just £25, and customers who’ve already added one to their own wardrobes say it’s an excellent dupe for more expensive options on the rails.
‘I bought this dress a few weeks ago for a birthday night out and when it arrived I was over the moon,’ said one five-star reviewer. ‘The material is light and floaty and the colour is a lovely pinky/red. It also fits true to size and feels so comfortable. I received so many compliments in the dress that I can’t wait to wear it again.’
‘Bought for summer but so nice have decided to save it for my friends little ones christening in August if I can wait that long to wear it,’ another gushed. ‘It looks way more expensive that it is and fits like a dream. I’m only small at 5’3 1/2” so sometimes midi stuff swamps me but this is just perfect.’
If you want to steal their affordable style, the good news is that you can still shop the dress on the Asda direct website, and it comes in sizes 6-24 – although as you might expect, the TV star effect has already caused some to sell out.
Susanna went for classic red, but if you’re looking for something a little lighter and brighter for summer? Take a look at Charlotte’s white version, which comes in the same flattering shape with flashes of red and pink in its patterning, and features a fun contrasting hem.
