To say thank you for all the hard work put in by NHS and rail staff this year, Starbucks is offering them a free Starbucks coffee each throughout the whole of next week.
There’s no doubt that every single member of the NHS (including first responders and care workers) has been an absolute hero this year, and Starbucks also recognises that none of their heroic work could have taken place without rail staff continuing to do their jobs throughout the coronavirus pandemic, too. So they want to say a little thank you to all of you via a free cuppa, which will be available to grab in store from Monday 14 December.
If that’s you, to claim your free Starbucks coffee all you have to do is head in store (the offer is unfortunately not available on mobile orders or deliveries), show your NHS ID card or Rail Staff Travel card (whichever is applicable to you) when ordering a tall filter coffee (which usually costs around £1.60) and the person on the till will do their magic thing and grant you with the special freebie you deserve – a little caffeine-fuelled festive treat from Starbucks to you.
To go alongside your free Starbucks coffee, you might want to pick up one of their Christmas sandwiches, too – this year you can choose between a Turkey Festive Feast Panini, Tis The Season Turkey Sandwich or a Friends-inspired The One With The Gravy Layer Sandwich, complete with an extra Monica-style gravy-soaked slice of bread in the middle.
As for the brand’s special limited edition Christmas coffees, there’s a tempting selection of Eggnog Latte, Gingerbread Latte, Toffee Nut Latte or the brand new for 2020 Truffle Deluxe Hot Chocolate.
And if you want to give back to the NHS yourself, by purchasing one of Starbucks’s Reusable Colour Changing Cups (a great stocking filler), 50p from every sale is donated to NHS Charities Together.
