Having made a name for herself on Instagram as something of a decluttering extraordinaire, the six-part series saw Stacey completely transform families’ lives. The show involves emptying people’s houses of every possession and laying it out before them so they could decide what stays and what must be discarded, sold or recycled. A daunting prospect, yes, but along with her expert team (carpenter Robert Bent, organising supremo Dilly Carter and cleaning extraordinaire Iwan Carrington) Stacey would overhaul each families’ living space, helping them to slimline their clutter, give old furniture a new lease of life, create ingenious hidden storage and provide helpful organisational hacks and tidying tips.

And now, not long after Stacey was announced as the new co-host of Bake Off: The ProfessionalsSort Your Life Out is returning for a second season.

Stacey said: ‘There’s nothing that brings me more joy than decluttering my home, so it was amazing to share my tips and tricks with wonderful families in the first series of Sort Your Life Out. Letting go of belongings can be a really vulnerable, challenging and emotional experience. I feel lucky to help people through the process and sort out their homes for the better. I can’t wait to be reunited with my dream team Dilly, Robert and Iwan for more incredible transformations.’

BBC Commissioning Editor, Beejal-Maya Patel said: ‘Sort Your Life Out is perfect television. These heart-warming stories of families overwhelmed by possessions and reluctant to let go of the past, is something we can all relate to. Stacey, Dilly, Rob and Iwan do such a sensational job of not only revamping the house, but of transforming the families’ lives for the long-term. I’m thrilled we’ll get to see it return for a second series.’

The second season of Sort Your Life Out will consist of six episodes that will air on BBC One; an air date is yet to be announced.
