Former X-Factor star and all-round national treasure Stacey Solomon has made no secret of the fact that she’s a bargain hunter.
Earlier this year, she launched a collection with affordable high-street store Primark, saying at the time: ‘I’ve shopped there since I can remember. It’s been there for me and my family when we needed clothes for special occasions or everyday use that were on trend and didn’t break the bank.’
Now she’s paving the way for supermarket fashion, having been spotted in a outfit that’s entirely from Morrisons’ Nutmeg range, and priced at just £29 for the top and the skirt. If that’s not a bargain, we don’t know what is.
Stacey’s stylists Gemma Shanley and Bertie Bowen, also known as Mother Shoppers, shared a behind-the-scenes snap of the complete look from recent episode of ITV’s Loose Women, where Stacey is a regular panellist.
The high-necked, relaxed-fit yellow jumper (£15) added a sunny edge to the monochrome tartan kilt (£14), and the combination sparked a surge in sales amongst fans of the presenter, with Morrisons reporting that both pieces are already selling out in several stores.
If you want to copy the outfit, all you need to do is add a pair of on-trend white boots and you’ll be well on your way to Stacey-style fashion success. Both items are available in sizes 8-22 – while stocks last, that is.
If you’re not already au fait with the virtues of Nutmeg clothing, here’s a brief history: it launched into Morrisons stores in March 2013 as a children’s range, with womenswear landing in February 2017.
The range, which spans everything from flattering dresses to cosy pyjamas, is now available in over 200 Morrisons supermarkets – check the list here to find out if you can steal Stacey’s style in your local!
