This £2 spice rack hack is great for space-saving make-up storage

The start of a new year can be a great time to have a good clear out and reorganising of your home. Any avid The Home Edit followers know that they key to good home organisation is clever storage hacks, and one Poundland shopper has found an ingenious space-saving solution for make-up storage.

We’ll be the first to admit that our make-up storage ‘solution’ doesn’t go far beyond an overflowing drawer of various half-used bottles, tubes and brushes. Sure, there might be some sense of organisation within the mess (palettes on the left, nail varnishes in that back corner), but let’s face it, it’s organised chaos at best.

Which is why we love this excellent hack, which was recently posted to the Facebook group Poundland Appreciation Society. Shopper Faye Ward shared a clip of her using one of Poundland’s rotating spice racks, but in a wholly different way – as make-up storage instead! Genius…

‘I’m so obsessed with this! only £2’ she commented on the video, which has garnered a rather excited response (180 comments and counting) from others in the Facebook group: ‘Omg I need!’ said one. ‘Have to get one, looks brilliant,’ said another.

We love that she’s added a pot in the middle for brushes, and you could also use this in the bathroom for storing toiletries, or anywhere else in the house that you need to store small items away neatly.

You’ll have to head in store to your local Poundland to see if they have the rotating spice rack in stock, but if not try one of these rotating spice rack storage solutions instead.
