The hottest designer and high street collaboration of the year is finally here and luckily, it dropped right on time for the Easter bank holiday heatwave. High street favourite Warehouse has teamed up with chic London-based label Shrimps for their latest range of spring/summer offerings, and the entire collection looks flawless.
The collaboration consists of 40 items, all of which boast the gorgeous detailing and designs Shrimps is known and loved for by fashion enthusiasts. The inspiration? Italian beaches. We’re talking striped umbrellas, Campari Spritz, ice cream colours and vintage landscapes – so you can already imagine how dreamy the pieces are.
The holiday edit consist of everything from cute co-ords and bright dresses to detailed playsuits and floral bikinis – not to mention accessorises that will no doubt become as huge as Shrimps’ famous beaded bags.
You can also expect to see plenty of Hannah Weiland’s, the 29-year-old founder and designer of Shrimps, signature prints and detail including gingham prints, ‘la margherita’ daisies (the designers favourite flower) as well as classic trends such as halter-neck swimsuits and bardot necklines – the collection even features a selection of hats, including the street style favourite bucket hat.
For those who do not know what that is, Weiland once said: ‘If I was asked to describe Shrimps’ aesthetic it’d be British, painterly and feminine chic.’
The entire Shrimps x Warehouse collection has a retro feel to it and it won’t be long before you spot your favourite influencers and fashion editors sporting the new summer designs. And what’s more? With prices starting at just £12, you won’t be doing much damage to your bank account – so what are you waiting for?
