Ever since it was announced that there was to be a Sex And The City spin-off series, fans have been going wild with anticipation. Now that we know the series, called And Just like That…, will officially land on screens this December, hype is nearing fever pitch.
As any SATC fans will know, the hit 90s/00s TV show was just as much about the outfits that protagonist Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) and gang wore as it was about the storylines. And from the look of all the on-set pictures we’ve seen over the past few months since And Just Like That… started filming on the streets of New York, the fashion looks every bit as fabulous as before.
So to really whet your appetite before you can finally gobble up the next instalment of the SATC franchise, we’ve compiled every outfit our favourite on-screen ladies wear in the upcoming series. Enjoy…
Every on-set fashion look from And Just Like That…
The girls are back: Cynthia Nixon as Miranda Hobbes, Kristin Davis as Charlotte York-Goldenblatt and Sarah Jessica Parker as Carrie Bradshaw. Iconic.
Carrie Bradshaw knows pink and green is one of the colour combos of the moment.
A big poofy skirt is a Carrie staple and we’re glad to see they haven’t gone anywhere.
We’re intrigued to know what storyline has led Carrie to adopt this strange ensemble, complete with rubber gloves and undone shoes.
A sequinned, tasseled bag and bow stilettos is as minimal as Carrie is prepared to go.
Carrie teaches us how to nail tonal dressing.
The bodycon dress is back – according to SJP’s on-set outfit here, anyway.
No one can make a trilby hat work in 2021 quite like Carrie Bradshaw can.
A berry-toned oversized suit for CB and an outfit that screams headmistress from Charlotte York.
Charlotte gives us a masterclass in head-to-toe monochrome dressing.
A slashed stripy sweatshirt paired with a huge tulle floor-length skirt? It can only be Carrie.
Miranda’s back with a full-on denim look.
We’re just as unsure as you are of what this, er, interesting outfit means – we guess we’ll find out in December…
Charlotte proves frills aren’t over just yet…
SJP steps onto set in a delightfully multicoloured dress and metallic gold platforms.
Charlotte keeps it twee in an A-line skirt and co-ordinating accessories.
Another eye-wateringly bright choice from the wardrobe of Carrie Bradshaw. Is that a bunch of grapes on that belt?
New to the SATC gang, Nicole Ari Parker (rumoured to be ‘Samantha’s replacement’), wows in a suitably bright and oversized number.
Miranda goes for a touch of boho in this look.
Carrie knows it’s all about the unexpected accessory, such as this huge flower brooch.
Unexpected layering – another classic Carrie Bradshaw move.
Kristin Davis looking elegant in bold blooms while on set.
Sarah Jessica Parker was spotted in New York wearing a gorgeous lehenga set, accessorised with flowers in her hair (of course).
Cynthia Nixon and new face Karen Pittman look oh-so coordinated in pumpkin orange – we wonder if those are pumpkin spice lattes in those takeaway cups, to match…
For what looks to be a picnic scene, Cynthia’s character has got the memo that checks are in.
Kristen Davis making boucle work in 2021 with the help of a strong shoulder.
It’s been a long time since we’ve seen a pencil skirt – did Charlotte just bring them back?
Nicole in a wonderfully bold but beautifully coordinated ensemble.
Another new face for the series, Sarita Choudhury is set to star alongside SJP et al.
Sarah Jessica Parker looking a lot like something you’d sip at a beach bar on holiday.
Miranda Hobbes looking inimitably chic.
There’s a lot to unpack here, starting with Carrie’s hat and ending with her choice to carry two bags.
Another day, another excellent headwear and handbag combo.
Sarita walks alongside SJP on-set.
Only a handful of people can truly pull off socks and sandals – SJP as Carrie is one of them.
A rare pared back look from our leading lady.
Cynthia’s on-screen wardrobe looks set to be a masterclass in total chic.
We love everything here from the cute pup to the Burberry poo-bag holder.
