Of the many binge-able TV series that dominated 2020, Netflix’s Selling Sunset was definitely one of them. While the first season was actually released in March 2019, the reality series didn’t take off in the UK until the following summer. But then boy did it (even YOU columnist Elizabeth Day confessed her love for the show)…
If you’re not familiar with the hit show already, it follows the professional and private lives of a group of high-flying real estate agents in LA – and if that’s not enough to get you hooked, the exclusive peeks inside some of Hollywood’s finest, most lavish (and most expensive) homes sure will be.
If you’ve already binged all three existing seasons quicker than you can say Beverly Hills and now have a Selling Sunset-shaped hole in your life, don’t worry as Chrishell Stause, Christine Quinn and the rest of the gang are back for another season and we can already predict the drama will be as juicy as the stiletto heels are high. Here’s everything we know so far about Selling Sunset season 4…
All the regular faces from seasons gone by will still be there – that includes Jason and Brett Oppenheim, the twin brother owners of the The Oppenheim Group where they all work, Chrishell, Christine, Mary Fitzgerald (and husband Romain Bonnet), Heather Rae Young, Amanza Smith, Maya Vander and Davina Potratz.
But there will be some new faces joining the scene, too: ‘Vanessa Villela, a Mexican-American novella star-turned-real estate agent and Emma Hernan, an entrepreneur who has an interesting history with the ladies, have joined the cast,’ Netflix announced.
Selling Sunset fans, those Oppenheim couches are getting a little more crowded in Season 4.

Those new faces will likely rock the boat in season 4 – Chrishell told Us Weekly: ‘They are in different stages in their real estate [careers] and obviously, it definitely stirs the pot a little bit.’ The trailer certainly backs this up…
Davina has left The Oppenheim Group and is now working for a rival Beverly Hills estate agents, but she’ll still be on the show so we can maybe expect some healthy/unhealthy rivalry.
Other than that, we know that Heather has recently wed her partner Tarek El Moussa, and given that Mary and Christine’s weddings were heavily documented on the show previously, we can fairly safely assume that the cameras were allowed in on Heather’s, too.
Meanwhile Christine, who was pregnant during filming of the last season, has since given birth, so that will likely form part of the season 4 storyline. Lastly, Chrishell and Jason have regularly popped up on Instagram looking awfully cosy, so we’re sincerely hoping they clear up those rumours within the first few minutes of season 4!
The release date
Good news! You don’t have long to wait at all to catch Selling Sunset season 4 on Netflix.
While Christine revealed to Holly Willoughby on ITV’s This Morning back in September: ‘We’ve wrapped [season] four and we’re recording five,’ more recently Mary took to Instagram to spill the (more definitive) beans.
She wrote: ‘SAVE THE DATE! Wednesday, November 24, catch us back on the big screen for the newest season of SELLING SUNSET! We can’t wait for you guys to see it!’
Netflix has also confirmed that the show has been renewed for two more seasons, so we’re guaranteed a season 5 sometime in the future, too…
