The most famous celebrity clients from Selling Sunset’s The Oppenheim Group

We wouldn’t be surprised if you’ve already binged your way through the latest season of Selling Sunset on Netflix. There’s no better way to pass the time than lounging on the sofa in leggings, watching the glamorous women from The Oppenheim Group glide around in sky scraper heels, trying to sell houses to the richest of the rich.

Selling Sunset

The hit show isn’t lacking in celebrity guest appearances. In season four of Selling Sunset alone, music artist French Montana, DJ Alesso, NBA player Thomas Bryant and Marvel actor Simu Liu all approached The Oppenheim Group for help in buying and selling properties.

But which other famous faces have sought out twin brothers Brett and Jason, and their expert sellers, to help with their property searches?…

The Oppenheim Group’s celebrity clients

Meryl Streep

Yes, the one and only Meryl Streep is familiar with the Selling Sunset team. Back in 2014, she bought a house in the Hollywood Hills (for a cool $4.5 million) with help from The Oppenheim Group.

Orlando Bloom

Another Hollywood star to buy through The Oppenheim Group is actor Orlando Bloom. He bought, renovated and relisted a $7 million house through the company. According to Grazia, it’s now on the market for almost $9 million.

Ellen DeGeneres

Talk show host Ellen was apparently sold ‘the best house in LA’ by The Oppenheim Group, which has nine bedrooms and eight bathrooms. And the price tag? Oh, just $40 million.

Dakota Johnson

The actress bought a $3 million house from Brett and Jason’s company in 2017. You can even take a peek around it here, from when Dakota gave a tour of her home to Architectural Digest.

Nicole Scherzinger

The Pussycat Dolls front woman bought a $3.7 million ‘bachelorette pad’ in the Hollywood Hills, with help from The Oppenheim Group.

Swedish DJ Alesso was a client of Emma’s in season four, in which we saw the newest addition to The Oppenheim Group successfully sell his $6.495 million house.

French Montana

Another highlight from the latest season of Selling Sunset was when French Montana sought help from Mary to sell his house, which came complete with an impressive recording studio and eventually sold for $5 million.

Simu Liu

Marvel actor Simu Liu contacted Selling Sunset‘s leading lady Chrishell to help him find his perfect home in Hollywood, which we also see unfold in season four.

Speaking to Entertainment WeeklyChrishell explained more about how Simu reached out on Twitter: ‘It started very innocently enough of me just being excited that he was a fan of the show because I felt like he wasn’t the kind of person that you would have expected to be watching and actively tweeting about it. So I took it as a huge compliment and thought it was super cool. Then it just happened so innocently — he mentioned that he might be actually looking for a place soon, and then I was like, “Um, I can help you with that.”‘

Chloë Grace Moretz

Greta star Chloë bought a house with The Oppenheim Group when she was just 19. She worked with Jason, who later in an interview called her ‘great’ and her family ‘thoughtful and easy-going’.

Karamo Brown

Remember when the Queer Eye star went house hunting with Christine in season three? She showed him around a $2.9 million home.

Thomas Bryant

The NBA athlete was seen in season four of Selling Sunset, too. He wanted to sell his estate in Woodland Hills for $3.7 million after purchasing it for $3.25 million in 2020.

Kris Humphries

Another NBA athlete to be represented by Jason Oppenheim was Kris Humphries, ex husband of Kim Kardashian. His $8.2 million home in Beverly Hills sold for $2 million more than what he paid for it in 2015.
