The mascara that sold out in 23 minutes is back in stock

New mascaras are ten to the dozen, but when one sells out in mere minutes of its initial launch, you know it’s worth taking note of.

This is exactly what happened when Irish beauty brand Sculpted by Aimee Connolly launched its first ever mascara in 2021 – it flew off the shelves in just 23 minutes.

The brand, which was founded by top make-up artist Aimee Connolly in 2016, aims to create fuss-free products that make applying make-up easier. The launch of its My Mascara was the brand’s first foray into eye make-up, so this was big news for beauty fans everywhere.

However, if you missed out the first time, we have good news for you as the £17 mascara is now back in stock.

Described as an ‘ultra black, volume and lengthening mascara designed to lift, lengthen and define,’ the super black pigment formula is kind to lashes – it’s infused with Vitamin B5 which conditions, nourishes and moisturises each lash.

Speaking of the mascara, Aimee said: ‘I have been trying to create the perfect mascara for a long time now which is why its taken us so long to come to market with one. It’s so hard to find a mascara that does both – lengthens and gives volume. My Mascara does just that!

‘This has been in the pipeline for a long time and we tested so many formulas until we felt we got the one that encompasses everything I wanted from a mascara. And so My Mascara was born!’

The Sculpted by Aimee Connolly mascara has earned itself close to 100 five-star reviews on the Boots website, with shoppers calling it ‘amazing’ and the ‘best mascara ever’.

One reviewer wrote: ‘Amazing! Hands down the best mascara I’ve ever used. I have long lashes and always need to curl them first but with this mascara I don’t, it’s unreal – the best!!’ And another commented that people kept asking if she had false lashes when wearing the Sculpted by Aimee Connolly mascara.
