From haute couture runways to our local high streets, puff sleeves are everywhere and they’re showing no signs of slowing down. In fact, the past year has seen the chic design detail go from having a ‘moment’ to cementing a full-time residency in the fashion world, with everyone from reputable designers to fast-fashion outlets online replicating the trend in their collections.
During Fashion Week season back in September, LiketoKnow.it reported a 1600 per cent surge in searches for puff sleeve dresses, and the shopping frenzy doesn’t stop there. High street retailer River Island set off riots as influencers and fellow fashion fanatics went wild for the brand’s puff-sleeve denim jacket – yes, that is a thing.
