Princess Eugenie just wore a dress from Zara and it’s still available

It’s no secret that the royals love a bit of Zara. Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, has been spotted in a floaty summer dress from the high-street brand on more than one occasion, while her sister Pippa recently introduced us to a chic Zara coat.

Princess Beatrice, meanwhile, loves her Zara jacket so much she’s worn it to several different events – and her sister, Princess Eugenie, is also another full paid-up member as the Zara fan club, as evidenced by her most recent look during a visit to a pop-up shop created by Project 0, a campaign that aims stop our oceans from drowning in plastic.

Eugenie, who works as an associate director for an art gallery, wore the cute checked number, which costs £79.99, layered over a long-sleeved shirt and teamed with knee-high boots, making the sleeveless style totally winter-appropriate.

If you want to copy her look (which, by the way, we think would be perfect for Christmas Day), the good news is that the royally-approved frock is still in stock on the Zara website in every size, from XS to XL.

Speaking to Harper’s Bazaar about her personal style back in 2016, Eugenie explained how she mixes affordable fashion with higher-end brands – and opened up about her go-to office outfit.

‘I wear a dress and boots to work. I’ve started wearing high heels, which is so grown-up. But they’re painful by the end of the day. I look at people wearing heels in movies and I’m like, “How do they do that?”‘ she said.

‘For clothes, I love Sandro and Maje. Zara is great for work, and bits from Topshop.’

Turns out the princess is a girl after our own high-street loving hearts.
