Earlier this year, Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle welcomed their first baby, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, to the world and instantly, we all fell in love with him. But could the couple already be expecting their second child?
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have made no secret of the fact that they’ve considered having two children. Speaking to ethologist Dr Jane Goodall about climate change for Vogue back in July, Harry said he and Meghan are aiming for ‘two maximum’ when it comes to expanding their family.
And now recent comments made by the Prince have given fans a reason to believe they could be considering expanding their family sooner rather than later.
Meghan and Harry both paid a visit to some of their neighbours at an army housing estate in Windsor last week, where they engaged in conversations with people who have had family members serve in the armed forces.
After the event, which was in celebration of Remembrance Day, one of the women who spoke to the royal couple told Forces news that Harry was keen to hear about her family life and the two discussed parenting two children.
‘Having our babies so close in age with their baby, I think they were keen to sort of chat to other parents of a similar age,’ she revealed. ‘Harry was really quite interested in how things were with second children as well because we’ve got older children and so we were trying to encourage him as well to have a second baby.’
Naturally, this kick-started some rumours as fans have taken Harry’s interest in what it is like raising a second child as an indication that he may already be awaiting his own.
Of course, there is no concrete evidence that Meghan is pregnant again, and if the couple do have news to share, we’re sure they’ll confirm it when they’re ready. In the meantime, we’ll be awaiting adorable Archie updates as and when they’re shared!
