People are seriously impressed with Primark’s £8 skinny curling tongs

If you weren’t born with naturally curly hair, you’ve probably envied those who were on more than one occasion. From loose waves to tight coils, the easiest way to update your look is to change the shape your locks – and it turns out that you don’t need to spend a lot of money to achieve amazing results.

Case in point: the £8 Primark Skinny Curling Tongs that are winning rave reviews from customers who are amazed by the long-lasting spiral curls they produce.

The frenzy began after Facebook user Lily Boyers uploaded a picture of her transformation in the popular Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group, revealing that it had only taken her around 15 minutes to style her ‘pretty thick’ hair.
Her post then sparked thousands of comments from other customers who either wanted to get their hands on a set, or who already owned them and wanted to share their positive experiences too.

‘I’m gonna get some, would love my hair like that,’ wrote one, while a second said: ‘I got these as a stocking filler for my daughter last year, they are really good, even more so for £8.’

‘Amazing price considering how good they are!’ exclaimed another impressed shopper who’d also given hers a try. ‘I have a wider barrel Remington wand and these curl quicker than the Remington.’

Others added that Primark also offers wider barrel tongs for those who want bigger curls at the same price, and also said they rated the £10 straighteners too.

In fact, Lily’s pictures quickly racked up almost 4k reactions and more than 1k comments from fans, indicating that your local Primark might soon be about to run out of its stock of electricals ahead of Christmas.

But as, much to our eternal dismay, the brand hasn’t yet launched an online shopping platform, the only way to check for sure is to cross your fingers and head into your nearest branch.

Just be sure to get there before the rest of Facebook does.
