Primark has just launched a £12 pair of crystal-embellished heels that look a lot like an iconic Manolo Blahnik design. The difference? Well, approximately £863.
The iconic Manolo design was made famous by Sarah Jessica Parker’s Sex and the City character, Carrie Bradshaw, and has long since been a favourite of celebrities and members of the fashion set alike.
And though Primark’s version has a few noticeable differences – the shape of the crystal design for one, and the strappy-back rather than a slip-on style – the overall feel of the budget version is pretty much the same as the high-end version.
On Primark’s official Instagram account, the retail chain posted a photo of the pointed embellished shoes in black, along with the caption: ‘Level up any outfit with our stunning embellished shoes.’
Fans and shoppers alike have flooded the comments section of the Primark Manolo Blahnik dupes post, garnering the post 12.3k likes and counting, as they couldn’t help but contain their excitement.
One user wrote: ‘Carrie Bradshaw vibes here’, alongside a love struck emoji, while another user also chimed in ‘Total Carrie Bradshaw vibes!!’
They’re the perfect heel as wedding season gets going and they’re an easy way to upgrade any outfit from day to night.
Sadly, you have to actually go into store to nab yourself a pair of the Primark Manolo Blahnik dupes, but at least it gives you an extra opportunity to strut your stuff afterwards – where are Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte when you need them?
