Primark has launched a clothing collection in collaboration with Greggs

It’s always exciting when our favourite brands collaborate on projects, but one we definitely didn’t see coming was between high street giants Primark and Greggs. Yes, the bargain fashion brand has teamed up with the actual bakery chain for a first-of-its-kind partnership.

Primark and Greggs has launched a limited-edition, 11-piece clothing collection that will be sold in 60 Primark stores across the UK. The collection will be available to shop from 19 February.

The exclusive range marks the first time Greggs has ventured into the fashion industry in its 83-year existence, so we can’t help but wonder what on earth the items look like. A pop-up boutique in London will be accessible by booked appointment only, from 17-18 February to get a first-look at the clothing collection. What’s more, you can even pick up two of the pieces for free when you swing by.

But if you can’t make it, here’s a look at some of the items we think will fly off shelves faster than you can say ‘cheese and bean bake’…

But wait, there’s more! The world’s largest Primark, which is based in Birmingham, will now also play host to the world’s largest Greggs. The ‘Tasty by Greggs’ cafe seats 130 people and the menu features all your favourite treats, such as sausage rolls, pizza, sweet bakes and hot food. Need a Greggs fix in a hurry? No problem. Customers can also make click and collect orders via the Greggs app.

Primark’s Greggs cafe really is the gift that keeps on giving. It will be decorated with doughnut-inspired seating areas, flying vegan sausage rolls and a sugar strand doughnut swing. After taking in the weird and wonderful decor, customers can quench their thirst at the refillable water station or the self-serve coffee cart.

Raymond Reynolds, Business Development Director at Greggs, said: ‘Greggs clothing is something our customers have continually asked for, so it’s great that together with Primark we can now make our first official range available across the UK – so that fans can quite literally show their love for Greggs on their sleeves.’
