This £13 Primark midi dress is an autumn must-have

Primark have been knocking it out the park recently – from designer dupes to a positively luxe-looking autumn collection, we can’t keep up. And now, there’s a new dress that people are falling over themselves to get hold of.

Costing just £13 – we love a Primark price tag – the dress in question is a black and white checked midi number that features buttons down the front, a tie waist and long, slightly ballooning sleeves.

The neutral colour palette of the Primark dress means it will suit anyone and the midi length and long sleeves make it both a flattering fit and weather appropriate as it turns cooler. Plus, it’s the perfect dress to take you from work to weekend with zero effort on your front, which is always good in our books.

Fashion influencer @vanillalooove showed off the shirtdress perfectly on Instagram, pairing it with simple black heeled sandals and a black handbag. But as the weather turns colder, it will look just as fabulous with opaque tights and chunky boot.

The black and white colour palette means a pop of colour wouldn’t go amiss via the accessories, either – think a bright handbag, statement earrings or a bold lip.

Shoppers are loving the dress, with emphatic comments such as: ‘Love this Dress I might need to go pick it up’, ‘Luvvvvv this dresssssss 🔥🔥🔥’ and ‘Need this in my life! 🙌’ flooding the comments section under the image on Instagram.

If you want to get your hands on it we’d suggest getting to your nearest Primark store fast as it’s been flying off the shelves thanks to its mass appeal.

Meanwhile, if colour is more your thing, you’ll love this frothy bubblegum pink Villanelle-style Primark dress – at just £15, it looks exactly like the Molly Goddard frock Jodie Comer wore in the hit BBC show, Killing Eve.
