The Pret Christmas menu for 2021 has arrived and it looks delicious

There are so many things we love about the festive season, but one aspect of it that we get especially excited about is the food. All of our favourite outlets, from Marks and Spencer to Costa, spoil us year after year with a delectable choice of Christmas-inspired food. Now, with less than 50 days until the big day, Pret has launched its Christmas menu for 2021.

The merry menu consists of sandwiches, drinks, toasties, flatbreads, wraps, sweet treats and more, and is available from today (9 November). There’s no doubt Pret fans will be pleased with the return of the Christmas menu. In fact, customers missed it so much last year due to Covid restrictions that Pret decided to bring back its iconic Christmas sandwich in July!

So without further ado, this is what you can expect to see in Pret stores this season…

The Pret Christmas menu 2021

Savoury items

The classic Christmas Baguette is back for another year, consisting of turkey slices, port and orange cranberry sauce, herby pork stuffing, spinach leaves, mayonnaise and crispy onions. Pret’s mouthwatering Pigs in Blankets Hot Roll is also returning to shelves, along with the Brie, Pistachio & Cranberry baguette.

As usual, Pret has made sure its vegetarian and vegan customers are covered with its Vegan Christmas Nut Roast sandwich. What’s more, for each Christmas lunch sandwich and Vegan Nut Roast sandwich sold, 50p will be donated The Pret Foundation to help tackle poverty, homelessness and hunger.

There are also a few exciting new items on the menu this year. The first is a Turkey & Trimmings Toastie, which is made up of ham, turkey, herby pork stuffing, caramelised onion chutney and melted cheddar cheese. For those who don’t eat meat, a Vegan Christmas Flatbread is up for grabs. Inside of a wholemeal flatbread, you’ll find a layer of vegan sage mayo, port and orange cranberry sauce, Christmas Pesto, roasted butternut squash, sweet potato falafel, pickled cabbage and carrot. Phwoar!

Pret has also expanded its pasta offerings this Christmas, to include a Christmas Stuffing Mac & Cheese and Vegan Festive Pasta Bake, which contains butternut squash.

Sweet items

If you’ve got a sweet tooth, you’re in for a real treat. The festive favourites making a comeback include Pret’s Christmas Tiffin, Melvin the Melting Gingerbread Snowman and mince pies (of course), which have now been made with a vegetarian-friendly recipe.

The new sweet item is a Nutty Salted Caramel Brownie. The Belgian chocolate brownie is filled with salted caramel sauce and topped with chopped walnuts and a drizzle of salted caramel sauce. Yum…

Returning once again to the merry menu is the Gingerbread Latte, made from gingerbread syrup, an espresso shot, steamed milk and topped with whipped cream and cinnamon.

Pret Christmas drinks 2021

But it’s the new drinks on offer that have really made us desperate to get to a Pret store. The new Love Bar Latte combines a Chocolate Caramel Cookie Syrup with a shot of espresso, steamed milk and topped with whipped cream and caramel sauce, while the Popcorn Bar Hot Chocolate combines popcorn syrup with hot chocolate.

If you’re not a fan of a hot drink, there are Cold Brews on offer in three new flavours: Cold Brew Coffee Latte, Cold Brew Coffee Mocha and Cold Brew Coffee Black.

For the first three weeks from its launch, the Christmas Lunch sandwich will be available exclusively in shops and on Deliveroo. The rest of the items can be bought in shops or ordered via any food delivery service that’s partnered with Pret.

The totally tempting Christmas menu will run until the end of December, while stock lasts. Go, go, go!
