Poundland’s colour correctors are 96 per cent cheaper than Chanel’s

Considering that apparently 87 per cent of our make up is probably out of date post-lockdown, it might be time to part ways with the old dried up tubes of make up of 2020 and invest in some new products to take us through summer 2021.

However, if replacing most of the contents of your make-up bag sounds costly, we’ve got just the thing for you: dupes. Beauty dupes are a great way to get a similar product for a fraction of the price of higher-end brands, and plenty of budget-friendly beauty brands make them these days.

Aldi is well known for its huge range of beauty dupes, but one other place on the high street we reckon you may not yet have thought to venture to for beauty products is Poundland. However, the beauty aisles of Poundland can in fact often come up trumps for some of the best dupes on the high street.

A new and exclusive beauty collection arriving in Poundland stores this month is the Make Up Gallery x Poundland collection. With over 20 new products to choose from, including glow foundation, gel nail polishes, eye shadow palettes, lip glosses and more, one product in particular stands out from the crowd.

The Make Up Gallery x Hide & Chic Colour Correctors are vitamin enriched and just £1 each, making them a great dupe for Chanel’s £30 version of the same product.

These Poundland Chanel dupes are 96.67 per cent cheaper than the high-end brand, giving you a great saving.

Colour correctors come in different shades and are used underneath foundation to even out skin tone – pink is used to brighten dull areas, such as under the eyes, while green is used to counterbalance redness in the skin.

When you consider the price difference, it’s easy to see which product is going to give you better value for your money, and at £1 a pop, the Poundland Chanel dupes are a much fairer price to pay to experiment with a new product you haven’t used before.
