Cult US beauty brand Physician’s Formula is now available in the UK

We’ve got great news for all of the beauty lovers out there – best-selling US brand Physician’s Formula has just become available in the UK for the first time, and we’re excited to say the least.

Founded in 1937 by Dr. Frank Crandall, the make-up brand is huge among influencers and beauty industry experts alike. You’ve may even have seen it all over Instagram, or been recommended it by your American friends already, because the brand is practically worshipped in its native home.

It was created by Crandall as he was desperate to provide make-up that would not aggravate his wife’s sensitive skin. And now, 80 years on, his science-based formulas are hailed for being a fuss-free option for not only those with sensitive skin, but anyone who loves good quality, healthy hypoallergenic make-up and skincare.

Physicians Formula Murumuru Butter Bronzer, £12.99, Feel Unique

Physicians Formula, which has cemented its status as a cult beauty brand in the States with over 612K Instagram followers, currently owns the title of number-one best-selling bronzer and mineral face powder brand in America, and it won’t be long before it takes over the UK beauty scene too.

Physicians Formula The Healthy Foundation, £12.99, Feel Unique

The ‘drugstore’ brand is now being stocked exclusively on Feel Unique, where you will find everything from their famous powder bronzers and blushers (which happen to be made with butters and oils from Brazil like murumuru and cupuacu), to their nourshing liquid lipsticks, made with  avocado oil and hyaluronic acid, and of course, their Healthy Foundation range is available in 24 shades and contains SPF 20.

Physician’s Formula isn’t the first cult beauty brand to travel across the pond this year. Back in January, Milk Makeup announced it was coming to the UK and was quickly faced with a waitlist of more than 17,000 eager fans wanting to snap up their inclusive range.

But why all of the fuss? Milk Makeup ticks many customers’ major boxes: it’s cruelty-free, paraben-free, and vegan. Offering skincare alongside purchases like highlighter, foundation and bronzer, its packaging (mostly tubes and sticks) is effortlessly cool, but also designed to produce minimal waste and 100% recyclable.
