After shooting to fame for her portrayal of Daphne in Netflix’s hugely popular Regency-era period drama Bridgerton, the film and TV offers have no doubt be flooding in for Phoebe Dynevor.

Having already starred as the lead in her first feature film, The Colour Room, last year, and with the lead role in the TV adaptation of Exciting Times in the works (on which she’s also an executive producer), it’s clear Phoebe Dynevor is on track to become the on-screen leading lady of our times.

So it’s no surprise that the 27-year-old actress has now bagged herself the lead role in an upcoming rom-com, The Threesome.

Phoebe will star opposite The Perks of Being a Wallflower‘s Logan Lerman. Deadline reported that the film is a ‘high-concept, character-driven comedy’ of a similar ilk to the 2007 blockbuster comedy Knocked Up, which starred Seth Rogen, Katherine Heigl, Leslie Mann and Paul Rudd.

The Threesome is set to explore the aftermath of one impulsive, seemingly harmless decision – to have a threesome. However, when the ‘ultimate fantasy come true’ is all over, the three participants are left with ‘sobering real-life consequences, forcing them to take responsibility for their actions — even if it means compromising the lives they’ve always envisioned.’

It’s yet to be revealed who will play the third essential part of this messy love triangle, but we’ll keep you updated with all the latest news as we get it.

Phoebe’s co-star Logan Lerman is just wrapping up filming of the second season of Amazon Prime Video series Hunters, and he’s set to star in what is expected to be one of the biggest film’s of 2022, Bullet Train, where he’ll be acting alongside an all-star cast including the likes of Brad Pitt, Sandra Bullock, Lady Gaga and Aaron Taylor-Johnson.
