As well as the classic frozen Margarita, the flavoured varieties are also sublime. You can try this at home – just add 60ml (2oz) of your favourite fruit purée to the recipe. Kapow!
GARNISH Salt rim and lime wedge
45ml tequila reposado
15ml triple sec (or you can use Grand Marnier if you don’t have triple sec)
30ml freshly squeezed lime juice
15ml agave syrup
- Rim a chilled glass with salt.
- Place 1 scoop of crushed ice into a blender cup.
- Add all the ingredients.
- Blend until smooth.
- Pour into a hurricane glass.
- Garnish with a lime wedge.
