Disco themed party
Searches for ‘disco themed party’ are up an impressive 408 per cent, and is really fun theme to follow – especially if you were there the first time around. Take it back to the ’70s and dress up, play some retro tunes, and bring back the Farrah Fawcett flicks. Oh, and the playlist for this one basically builds itself.
Black and gold decor
Simple but effective – using black and gold decor, with searches up 133 per cent, is the perfect way to add a little extra glamour to the occasion without breaking the bank. Consider enforcing it as a dress code too – after all, most people already have an LBD in their wardrobes.
DIY photo booths
In a truly ‘doing it for the ‘gram’ inspired move, searches for DIY photo booths are up 110 per cent. Some of the ideas on Pinterest and pretty complex, requiring some major assembly, but you can also use balloons, tinsel or foil curtains for an easier and more affordable twist.
