No7’s latest launches have racked up a waiting list of 36,000 people

This weekend, YOU’s beauty director Edwina Ings-Chambers bought you an exclusive first look at two new launches from beloved beauty brand No7: No7 Laboratories Firming Booster Serum, and No7 Laboratories Dark Spot Correcting Booster Serum.

And now, it turns out she’s not the only one who’s seriously excited for the products to drop, as they’ve racked up a record-breaking waiting list of customers who can’t wait for them to arrive in store.

A representative for the brand has confirmed to you.co.uk that a reported 36,000 people have signed up to be notified about the product in just 12 days.

That’s an incredible 113 per cent increase on the previous 16,000-strong waiting list for the No7 Laboratories Line Correcting Booster Serum, which caused a serious frenzy amongst shoppers in 2018 thanks to its clinically proven ability to reduce the appearance of wrinkles by up to five years.

The two new products are intended to complement the existing franchise to address the top three beauty skincare concerns; loss of firmness, pigmentation and wrinkles.

The first of the two new formulas for 2019, No7 Laboratories Firming Booster Serum, promises to make your skin appear visibly firmer with just one week of use.

‘With ingredients including hibiscus (to boost collagen production), low- and high-molecular weight hyaluronic acid (to aid skin’s moisture at a deep and surface level) and Matrixyl 3000 Plus (to give a protein framework for elasticity/firmness), testers saw results within a week but cumulative benefits meant that after eight weeks some had friends asking whether they’d had fillers,’ Edwina explains.

The No7 Laboratories Dark Spot Correcting Booster Serum, meanwhile, is enriched with ingredients including vitamin C, mulberry and liquorice, and is designed to reduce the appearance of dark spots in a fortnight. Although it’s not a claim made by the brand, Edwina suspects it might also be helpful for melasma.

Both products will be priced at £38 and will be made available in-store and at boots.com from Wednesday 10 April. We’ll see you in the queue with the other 36,000 No7 fans!
