This Warehouse ‘coat of the season’ is flying out of stock

Even when you spend as much time as we do online shopping, there are still updates that surprise you. Our most recent? That you can order many of Warehouse’s best lines through Next’s websites, giving you more ways than ever to get your next (pardon the pun) fashion fix.

The news came to our attention via Next’s Instagram account, where it highlighted a cosy tartan Warehouse coat that’s proving particularly popular with a number of influencers this season.

Hannah Gale, Jessica Stewart and Chloe Plumstead, who between them have more than 200k followers on Instagram, were all spotted together in the buy, taking twinning (tripleting?) to a whole new level.

On her own account, Chloe dubbed the double breasted number her ‘coat of the season’, and all of the bloggers have shared multiple snaps of themselves in it on their respective feeds.

Each has their own take on styling, from dressing it up with embellished headbands to keeping thing casual with denim and Converse, but no matter what it’s paired with, it’s earned plenty of compliments from commenters.

To the surprise of almost no one, the coat is now almost entirely sold out on the Warehouse website, with low or no stock in every single size option – but this is where the Next news comes in.

I think we can all agree that coat of the season has been well and truly swiped by @warehouseuk. 🦀🦞🦑 Also since it’s lunchtime, I thought I’d share an unrelated but humorous story with you. My brother just told me that once his girlfriend sent him a Subway at work but when the driver arrived, he mistakenly handed over a bag of subs for David. There were four inside, potentially for poor David and his family. My brother decided to eat 3 of them instead of correcting the mistake, but then he got the shits for an entire month and had to go to the doctors twice because he felt like he was dying 😂😂. Moral of the story: never steal David’s subs. {Coat gifted as part of a paid collaboration.}

Next still has sizes 6 to 18 listed as available, so if you’re out of luck with Warehouse itself, you can still pick up the piece in your required fit.

At £96, it’s not the cheapest winter coat on the high street right now, but the classic fabric, contemporary shape and autumnal colour palette will ensure that it’s one that you get plenty of use out of, bringing that cost per wear right back down.

Plus, whenever you pull it on, you’ll know you’re in very good (Insta-famous) company. The only question is, who will you turn to for outfit inspo first?
