These £35 M&S leather flatform sandals look just like a £725 pair from The Row

Marks & Spencer always delivers the goods when it comes to easy to wear wardrobe staples that combine classic and contemporary styles and, this summer, the retailer has given the classic flip flop an upgrade with this pair of leather flatform sandals.

Now, it’s not the first time we’ve seen this design. In fact, last summer Instagram was awash with high-fashion content creators wearing a very similar pair by cult brand, The Row. Their Japanese inspired flip-flop sandal was all over Instagram last year but purchasing a pair ourselves was out of the question due to the price tag at £725.

Ginza Sandal, £725 The Row

Imagine our delight then when we spotted the £35 leather flatform sandals on the M&S website. With a flatform sole, contrast stitching and wide square toe, there are a ton of similarities (other than the price) between the two pairs of sandals.

The reviews are coming in thick and fast on the M&S website too with @sophb151 writing; ‘Bought these as a dupe for a designer pair and I love them! Great value for money, beautiful leather and really comfy. Wish I could get them in every colour!’

@debsh agreed, writing; ‘Seen these all over the high street, they are exactly like the designer ones; true to size and feels like you are on memory foam; look great with jeans and dresses.. my go-to summer item.’

White Leather Flatform Sandals, £35, M&S

Unlike The Row’s Ginza sandal, the M&S design comes in three super versatile colourways for summer; black, white and tan.

At only £35, a fraction of the price of The Row Ginza Sandal, we wouldn’t blame you if you bought all three!
