These are the most Googled beauty products of 2021 so far

January 2021 is coming to a close, despite it feeling as though it was still 2020 just days ago. It’s been a bit of a bleak month for obvious reasons, so it comes a no surprise that many of us have been opting for a spot of retail therapy in the form of some beauty treats. In fact, despite it only being January, there have been plenty of searches and sales in the beauty world.

money.co.uk / The Beauty Index

money.co.uk has compiled a list of the 20 bestsellers so far, giving you a snapshot of the most popular products in beauty, from skincare to makeup. By analysing data from Boots, Cult Beauty, and Beauty Bay, their Beauty Index 2021 looked at 6,500 products and narrowed them down to the 20 most Googled, according to category.

The most Googled product of 2021 overall so far is Pixi’s Glow Tonic, a long-standing hero in the world of exfoliation, which Caroline Hirons first advocated for years ago, and has since maintained its bestseller status.

Also featured are The Ordinary’s Squalane Cleanser, NARS’ Blusher and Sheer Glow Foundation, and Benefit’s bronze and brow products.
