Want the gorgeous vintage-inspired vibes of Orla Kiely, but can’t quite stretch your budget to the real thing? Take a look at Morrisons’ new autumn homeware line.
The affordable supermarket has unveiled its designs for the season ahead, and there was one print in particular that caught our eye: the retro floral.
Available in both a full set of bedding or a statement cushion that’d look perfect in a contrasting armchair or dotted across your sofa, the geometric floral pattern bears more than a passing resemblance to those produced as part of Orla’s range.
But while a full set of pillowcases and covers from the designer would typically set you back upwards of £60, Morrisons’ own-brand range starts at just £16 for a single bed set, rising to £19 for a double and £22 for a king.
For a more subtle take, the cushion is a mere £8, compared to an average of £35 for the brand name equivalent. And while they’re not completely identical in terms of colours and shapes, the similarities are close enough that anyone who covets an Orla edit will likely love the Morrisons range too.
Potential savings aside, the best thing of all is that you don’t even need to leave your house to get your hands on the bargain Morrisons buys. Both the bedding set and the cushion can be ordered through the Morrisons grocery online shopping site, so you can get yours delivered to your door alongside the rest of your weekly shop.
While you’re purchasing, don’t forget to browse the rest of the new Morrisons home drop. From pom pom-lined knitted throws to on-trend hanging hexagon mirrors, there’s plenty of gorgeous pieces to add to your trolley…
