Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle looked typically stunning as she stepped out for a public engagement at the One Young World Summit on Tuesday evening.
The royal was photographed at the Royal Albert Hall in a purple long sleeve midi dress accessorised with simple jewellery, swapping her usual go-to low bun for glamorous long waves with a centre parting.
But it didn’t take long for fans of the new mum to spot that they’d seen her elegant outfit somewhere before – and in fact, it’s a piece that she wore while she was pregnant with son Archie Harrison.
Back in January, Meghan wore the dress – reportedly the Maxwell dress from Vancouver-based brand Aritzia – while paying a visit to the Tomorrow’s Women Wirral Charity in Birkenhead with husband Prince Harry.
At the time, she clashed the cool aubergine hue with a tomato red coat and brown leather handbag, but with a few simple switches, she’s proved that it’s a garment that works just as well as evening wear as it did for the daytime appearance.
This time around, Meghan went tonal with a pair of navy suede Manolo Blahnik heels as she met with some of the 2,000 young leaders from more than 190 countries who had been invited to the prestigious occasion.
‘This is her third time in attendance as a counsellor for these extraordinary young leaders from around the world, and her first time attending as a member of The Royal Family and Vice President of The @Queens_Commonwealth_Trust,’ the Sussex Royal Instagram account noted.
However, the Duchess chose to forgo some of the usual formality associated with her title when the organisation’s founder Kate Robertson began to curtsey to her as she walked onto the stage, and she lifted her up and went in for a hug instead. Aww!
