Much to our delight, the Duchess of Sussex has been making a number of public appearances recently, the latest being the iconic moment at the London premiere of The Lion King on Sunday, where she and husband, Prince Harry, met royal couple in their own right Beyoncé and Jay Z (and naturally, the world lost its cool).
But while we still haven’t got to the bottom of what was said between Meghan and the songstress, we have stumbled upon another insightful revelation about baby Archie’s mum – one of the the products behind her ageless and healthy-looking skin.
The duchess has been out and about in the sun lately, which of course means that she has rightfully been smothering herself in sun cream. However, there’s one particular brand she cannot seem to get enough of when it comes to skincare and that is Nivea.
The new mum was photographed cradling her son as she attended her husband’s polo match last week, and eagle-eyed fans were quick to spot a bottle of Nivea’s Sun Protect & Moisture SPF Spray in the background. We know, it’s not the classic sunscreen brand the rest of the royal family have reportedly been loyal to for decades, but there are plenty of other reasons why Meghan loves it.
The purse-friendly sunscreen is priced at just £6, offers broad spectrum UVA and UVB protection, and has an average rating of 4.8 stars on the Superdug website. So it’s no wonder it has become her go-to for protecting herself and her new family from the sun’s rays.

This evening, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended #TheLionKing European premiere in London at the Odeon Theatre. In celebration of the film’s release, The Walt Disney Company announced #ProtectThePride, a global conservation campaign to support efforts protecting the rapidly diminishing lion population across Africa. As a part of their commitment to this cause, Disney also made a donation to The Duke of Sussex’s upcoming environment & community initiative which will be formally announced this autumn. The Duke and Duchess are committed to advancing conservation efforts across Africa and around the world, and working with communities to ensure a sustainable future for the planet. Plus, it isn’t the only product by the high street brand that the duchess is fond of. Nivea’s hero product, its Firming Body Moisturiser, has been a firm (pardon the pun) favourite of Meghan’s for years. In fact, she’s been using it since she was in her teens and once told BeautyBanter: ‘I use the Nivea Q10 Firming Body Moisturiser religiously …It’s honestly my favourite lotion on the market, it’s so affordable, and makes my skin look and feel amazing. I would buy a case of this at a time if I could find it!’
Though now that she is member of the royal family, we’re sure that’s been taken care of.
