The month of January may have a bad rep for bringing us Christmas blues, no booze and just generally being grey in the UK. But it does have its upsides; most excitingly in our book, the launch of new season collections.
This year, high street hero Marks and Spencer has left us particularly impressed, following the release of the first wave of its latest spring womenswear range. The stylish collection features everything we love: bright and bold colours, statement looks and trendy catwalk-inspired pieces.
However, as with any new season drop, there are hundreds of items in the collection to choose between, from two-piece suits and cosy spring jumpers to a range of midi dresses that’ll have you sorted all summer. The options are endless, from meaning there’ll certainly be something for everyone – but of course, going through that many items can be quite daunting.
That’s why we’ve made it all a lot easier for you by picking some of the highlights from the M&S collection, saving you the trouble of sorting through it all to fine all the gems. Here are some of the best bits to shop now…
M&S isn’t the only brand on the high street to kickstart the new year with a beautiful new edit. Last week, we reported that & Other Stories had unveiled a perfect 12-piece capsule wardrobe collection.
The beloved Scandi brand has just launched a collection of 12 pieces, which range from high rise jeans to stylish knits, crisp shirts, and basic t-shirts.
Describing the new collection, dubbed the Elevated Essentials edit, the store said: ‘Our edit of Elevated Essentials are chic, reliable and come with wear-everyday potential.’
We’ll see you in the queue.
