If there’s one thing we all need now that temperatures have dropped severely, it’s a warm winter coat – and we’re not talking the chic fashion kind. We mean a real duvet style jacket that will protect us from the cold during the dark months ahead.
Luckily, high street favourite Marks & Spencer has just launched a new puffer coat that looks like it will do the job, and then some.
The longline padded jacket has been described by the brand as being ‘as comfy as a duvet’ and certainly looks the part too. And of course, as it is M&S, the design is fabulous too.
The Padded Duvet Coat comes in four different colours meaning you can take your pick between black, navy, bark (a khaki-esque dark green) and silver – all of which are both seasonally appropriate and stylish.
The hooded coat is long enough to cover you from top to toe, making sure you’re not phased by the chilly weather whatever you’re doing, from watching the fireworks to walking the dog.
As the brand explains on its website, the puffer falls below the knee and is quilted and padded for extra cosiness, wth signature Thermowarmth technology to keep it lightweight, plus a clever Stormwear finish to repel rain.
Priced at £99, the jacket is an investment worth making. It was launched by the brand via their Instagram page this week, with the store saying: ‘Getting out of bed when it’s cold and dark is easy when your coat’s as comfy as a duvet.’
The toasty number is currently available in sizes eight to 24, so what are you waiting for? Get your order in before it’s too late, as we don’t doubt this is set to be a very popular buy.
