Marks & Spencer has no shortage of sellouts these days – from flattering midi dresses to must-have trainers, its fashion team is turning out hit after hit. And now, they appear to have hit the motherlode, with an entire newly-dropped collection flying off the rails in double quick time.

One of the store’s long-running lines, Per Una, has had a makeover, and now that it’s arrived in stores, customers are sitting up and paying serious attention. In fact, according to reports, 30,000 pieces from the range have sold in the last seven days alone.

Speaking to Grazia, design directors Lisa Illis and Jill Stanton, who are responsible for the new look explained: ‘This collection is more versatile than ever before. It celebrates simple styling and is a fresh new direction.

‘One of the hero shapes is the tiered shirt dress [pictured above]; it is incredibly flattering and easy to wear every day.’
