Marks and Spencer’s collaborations with Ghost – one of our favourite occasionwear brands – have cemented themselves as something of a high street tradition these days, producing a range of pretty, printed dresses and separates that regularly sell out.
The reason this collaboration is maintains its popularity is clear: attractive prints and colours in shapes that are both practical and wearable, these are the type of dresses you can pull out for everyday wear or dress up with glamorous accessories for a more formal occasion. What’s more, they’re not leaning too heavily on current trends, which means these designs will work season after season, resulting in good cost-per-wear.
The latest drop of M&S x Ghost has just arrived online, and again it offers up a selection that’s great for spring/summer dressing. The prints are all floral, from tiny ditsy prints in black and white to bolder blooms showcased against a green background.
As well as various prints, there are also a few shapes to choose from, although they all feature that nipped-in waist and more voluminous sleeves that Ghost is loved for. Most of the range features midi dresses, but there’s also a striking wide-leg jumpsuit, as well as a pretty knee-length dress that’s great for hot days.
As is often the case, some of the designs have started to sell out in certain sizes already (a green V-neck midi tea dress seems to be the ultimate hit of this collection), but it’s definitely worth keeping an eye on anything that’s sold out in your size, as they tend to get returns fairly regularly.
The range is priced between £59 and £79, and M&S x Ghost pieces are available in sizes 6 to 20, making it more inclusive than many high street collaborations. Shop the full range here.
