Meghan Markle has stepped out in many memorable looks. From her jaw-dropping wedding gowns by Givenchy and Stella McCartney, to her Carolina Herrera dress at Trooping the Colour back in June 2018.
However, one of our other all time favourite looks on the Duchess of Sussex was a set of stylish separates from none other than her go-to Givenchy. To refresh your memory, this was the one Meghan wore for the final day in New Zealand during her royal tour with husband, Prince Harry back in October.
The gorgeous outfit looks like a dress at first glance, but is actually a pleated skirt and fitted short-sleeved top. Due to the designer name, the original version is very much out of reach for the many of us who don’t have access to a royal wardrobe like Meghan – but now, luckily, our beloved high street favourite Marks & Spencer has come to the rescue with an incredibly impressive dupe.
Just like the designer frock, the Ribbed Round Neck Short Sleeve Knitted Dress by Marks & Spencer is made with the same elegant design, only it comes at the significantly lower price of £39.50.
The new version features the same details on the draped skirt as well as providing an amazingly flattering fit. Unlike Meghan’s dress, however, it isn’t available in royal blue but instead comes in black and white or a rich raspberry shade, perfect for spring.
Not only is it stunning, but the dress, which comes in sizes 6-18, is the ultimate ‘desk to dinner’ look – it can easily be dressed up with a lovely pair of stilettos and a bit of jewellery for an evening out, while also being super-appropriate for a busy day of meetings at the office.
But beware, the piece is selling out fast so you’ll have to hurry up if you want one of your own.
