Lush has launched a fragrance that smells just like a fresh ocean breeze

Nothing gets us quite as excited as a shiny new Lush drop and the latest is definitely something to shout about, especially if you’re a beach lover. The brand has launched a new fragrance named ‘Salty’ and not only does it come in a beauty bottle but the scent is as divine as it sounds.

Inspired by and reminiscent of a fresh ocean breeze, ‘Salty’ aims to transport us to a clear blue coast – we’re talking the kind where you don’t need a PCR test and or a 10-day quarantine. All you need is a small spritz and you can feel the holiday vibes from the comfort of your own home, or at least that’s what Lush is promising with the new salty sea spray scent.

Made with a salt accord, which is one of the most popular fragrance notes right now, the gender-neutral body spray is ideal for the summer months offering a light, fresh feel and a long-lasting effect on your skin and clothes. As well as the key ingredient, it features oudh oil and regenerative neroli from Lebanon and is completely vegan. Meanwhile other ingredients include rose oil and sandalwood oil.

Packaged in a spray bottle with the signature Lush logo and black and white colourway, it is priced at £30 for 100ml.

The launch comes just before the brand’s new 2021 Vegan Christmas Advent calendar is released, which it will no doubt make an appearance in. It consists of 25 vegan-friendly beauty treats that customers can enjoy in the lead up to Christmas including everything from Lush classics like the Sleepy body lotion and a Twilight bath bomb, to some of this year’s most popular releases like the Kris Mouse bubble bar. You’ll also get six products that are exclusive to the advent calendar, meaning even more new products to try!
