You’ll soon be able to buy flowers at Lush stores

Just when you thought that the scent of your local Lush store couldn’t get any better, the brand goes and announces something very exciting indeed. 2019 will see the arrival of Lush Flowers; an in-store stand offering you the chance to pick up a beautiful bouquet alongside your basket of bath bombs and shower jellies.

The first Lush Flowers display will pop-up at its flagship London Oxford Street store, where shoppers can select a seasonal, local, traceable and responsibly packaged arrangement for one week in the run-up to Valentine’s Day.

And although its arrival is temporary, lasting for just one week initially, Lush say that its not just London that will be receiving the floral treatment at some point this year.

‘A fresh innovation, Lush Flowers will be popping up in other Lush shop locations in 2019, so watch this space,’ it teases in a press release announcing the news.

‘We’ll be offering flowers fresh from the farm and working with local growers in the UK from small, garden growers to larger growers,’ Victoria Bradford Snell from the Lush Research & Development reveals to you.co.uk.

‘Our offering will be a variety of English garden style flowers with wonderfully scented flowers, foliage and herbs, some of which link wonderfully to the fresh ingredients in our products.’

‘Our packaging and flower carriers are made from recycled paper and card, natural hemp twine and is 100% compostable! We like to let our flowers do the talking. Our range will be made up of 3 sizes of simple hand ties bouquets starting at £15.’

There are no further timescales on the arrival of flowers nationwide, but one thing is for sure – when they do eventually land, the high street will smell better than ever before.

Lush Flowers will launch in London’s flagship Oxford Street store in February.
