This famous Love Actually mews house is up for sale

There’s no getting away from Richard Curtis’ festive flick, Love Actually, at this time of year, partly because it’s full of truly iconic moments. Hugh Grant dancing around 10 Downing Street to the Pointer Sisters’ ‘Jump (For My Love)’ has to be at the top of the list, along with Emma Thompson’s heart-wrenching Jodi Mitchell scene. And, if you’re a diehard fan of the film, you’ll be very familiar with this scene, where Mark professes his love for Juliet.

Now, the house next to the one that Keira Knightley’s Juliet lives in has gone on sale, meaning we can all have a snoop around online and imagine what it’s like to be Juliet’s neighbour. The pink house pictured below is where Mark (played by Andrew Lincoln) confesses his love for Juliet with the help of some handwritten placards, in a scene that you’ll either find incredibly cringey or heartwarming.

Located in Notting Hill’s famously picturesque St Luke’s Mews, the house next door has been painted black on the outside and given a very modern makeover on the inside.

‘Sitting amongst one of Notting Hills most famous Mews’, this unique house has been completely reimagined offering a unique perspective on Mews living,’ reads the listing on the Knight Frank website.

The ground floor features an open-plain kitchen and dining room, which have been orientated to optimise the light coming in from the south side of the house. The windows can cleverly be switched from clear to frosted in seconds at the flick of a switch to opt between light and privacy.
